We are in need of headphones for our laptops and computers. In my classroom we do something special called "Walk to Read" for reading groups. Our students travel to leveled learning rooms to experience personalized and rigorous instruction. We also have small group math rotations.
During small group rotations, the students love to use the computers to learn on Reading Eggs and Dream Box! Reading Eggs is an online program that has reading games and activities that are both interesting and engaging. Dream Box is a math program that challenges the students to be decision makers and to think critically through a series of games.
More than half of our headphones are no longer working or they are uncomfortable for the students to wear. I would love to have new headphones and I know the students would be excited too! Fixing the headphones or having to unplug them during instruction has become a disruption in the classroom.
