My students need a classroom that promotes academics that utilize their individual learning styles and needs. They learn best with materials that show limited words, pictorial input and colors that are visually stimulating. This requires classroom teachers to take standards and develop curriculum for the students they teach. Velcro, printer ink and lamination pouches will help me make the materials my students needs to be successful. In my classroom, we use a variety of Velcro activities to show what students know. Students with Autism relate well to things that are visually stimulating and pleasing. In order to make the materials my students need to be successful, I must print activities, laminate them and Velcro pieces and answer choices together.
