The tempera paint and palette paper is for a color wheel project. When I first introduced color theory to my class, many of my 8th graders did not know the primary colors. I want to have them create their own color wheels by mixing paints together.
The cardboard looms, plastic needles, and yarn are for a weaving lesson. The "up and under" motion that is repeated while weaving increases concentration and mobility skills that I think are important for my students to learn.
