My students love to learn and LOVE technology. We already have two iPads in the classroom and I've already noticed their engagement in literacy and math increase. Currently, my students enjoy using our classroom iPads to listen to stories read aloud. This specific exercise builds their recognition of words and a fluent model of reading. Adding an iPad as a resource for my students will allow more students to engage during our literacy and math station time.
Adding an Osmo will make our learning more tactile and engaging. Specifically, giving my students the coding game will allow them to engage in the foundations of technology. It will provide for hands on learning experiences that will build their skills in math, literacy and science as they learn to code.
