With technology essential for students today, having 2 iPads with cases in the classroom will open doors for my students to utilize engaging and beneficial apps to enhance and support their new reading skills! Today, there are so many educational apps to chose from to help support my students in reading. The iPads will allow my students to work independently, while I work with other students on guided reading in a small group. My students will strengthen the following reading skills by utilizing this new technology; concepts of print, decoding, listening comprehension, vocabulary development and phonemic awareness. In addition, having iPads during math, will allow me to open a technology station for learning!

About my class
