Each day as the children come to school there is a possibility for learning through hands on materials, exploration, and adventure! "That was AWESOME!", "Let's try this!", "Look!" are phrases that can be heard amongst our three to five year old children daily. Our unique school is a Reggio-inspired early childhood center which consists of five preschool classrooms. Throughout the day our blended classroom supports 32 children with a wide variety of abilities and needs, including children with special needs and English language learners. Over two-thirds of our students come from low income households.
Our classroom community is built on play-based learning, following children's interest and investigation. We provide the children with an opportunity to engage with peers, natural materials, and dynamic activities within an safe learning environment that helps to promote early childhood development skills.
