As teachers of very young children (ages 3 & 4), we would like to provide healthy snacks throughout their school day. Due to the special needs and young age of many of our students, soft foods like yogurt and applesauce are the perfect option. However, without refrigeration, these foods may spoil. Many of our students require a pureed diet for safety. Some of our students are excited to learn how to feed themselves and a spoonful of yummy yogurt is a great motivator!. They may also need access to chilled fruit juices during their school day after fun physical activities.
