My students are all on different levels in my special education classroom, and sometimes I need to print different work for different student levels during my class. The printer in the building is three floors away, so having a printer in the room would allow me to help my students when they need it. Some of my students come to me at lunch to work on college applications and job applications, which I shouldn't use the school's materials for, so I need a printer available for them. My students are high-needs students from low-income neighborhoods who can really benefit from having assistance with their applications for college and jobs.
