Our building encourages walls that teach. My classroom is filled with a variety of posters both teacher and student generated. Many of these posters are up all year long as a resource for students to use. At times when you have 23 to 28 students per class, these posters can get damaged due to overcrowding. By laminating them we are able to preserve them throughout the year and for future use.
Students love to come into a classroom and see their posters hanging and know they are helping other students. By laminating these posters it will give them a more polished look and provide examples for future references.
