I teach STEM in a diverse school in South Carolina with a 65% poverty rate. My students are very eager to learn and want to do well. My goal is to continue fostering a love for learning by providing many hands-on-activities. In STEM class, the students learn communication, creativity, and problem solving. With the current budget issue, we are unable to continue to replace STEM kits or purchase enough hands-on materials for small-group collaborative activities. My students would truly appreciate this possible solution to our problem.
