My school is located in in rural New Hampshire near the mountains and the lakes. My classroom is home to the Boost Program, which creates a safe space for students struggling with behavioral challenges. It's a place where they can have a quiet work space, release some frustration, talk about their day, have a snack, learn strategies for self regulation and so much more. My students connect with the staff members in my program. They feel cared for and supported when they are in here. Many of my students come from low income houses, and rely on school for stability. They face behavioral challenges in the classroom and look to my staff and myself to support them through their day. They are all hard working, kind individuals who want to be successful at school.
