I am a first grade teacher in northeast Wisconsin. Our school is small, rural, and high poverty. Next year I will be teaching kindergarten for the first time. After spending eight years in third and fourth grade, I have discovered I love working with younger children. I would love to be able to supply my students with the best possible age-appropriate materials, but due to major budget cuts, funds are unavailable to us and our students.
