My students live in the lower economic portion of a major city. They are Hispanic descent and have very little money and live in large families. Even though most of them are low income, they love to come to school and learn. Their parents are very active in their education for the most part and help any way they can, but many of them lack the resources.
Our school is an elementary school that houses almost 1,00 children. The average class room contains 28 students. Classrooms are crowded and students don't have much personal space.
