I am teaching in Baltimore City on the Westside. There are 23 students in my math class. Most are far below grade level in math and reading. Many of our students do not have access to computers to get assistance with reading or math skills. Our school has 300 students and does not have the updated technology needed to provide additional support for students in literacy, math, social studies and science. Students here are not privileged to have a 21st century classroom where they are able to make new discoveries with technology.
