With all the diversity in our classroom, flexible types of seating are very important. Sitting at a desk in a regular chair is not easy for everyone. Flexible seating allows students to have choices that allow for acceptable movement, while learning is taking place. Students love to have options when it's time to learn, and being comfortable is important. Bean Bag Chairs are an excellent option for our class's flexible seating. We love the fact that the bean bag chairs can be moved anywhere in the room. We use flexible seating during rotations, small group teaching, and whole group teaching. Bean Bag Chairs make silent reading their favorite time.
