Acrylic Paint, Pastels, and technology will allow PSJAN Early College High School students to create expressionist art pieces that talks about their emotions when experiencing testing. Students will use these materials on white paper and create various lines that depict movement and rhythm, in addition they will drip acrylic paint over their creative piece. They are expected to use various tones to express their emotions. Each tone will connect to their identity and liking. By creating a two dimensional art piece students will be referencing artist Jackson Pollock an American Painter, who created abstract expressionist art pieces using drip painting.
