I have found that teaching students to spin and weave fosters focus and determination in all areas of learning. Children are learning to preserver in learning a new skill, problem solve and to create.
I have found that these skills are not common skills for children to learn and at times, students who do not learn more academic skills quickly, become leaders in spinning and weaving. This helps everyone realize we are all leaders!
These skills also help us learn the day to day life of people around the world as well as skills used by people in the past.
