An egg incubator will give students a real-life opportunity to experience the wonders of nature in ways that are concrete and measurable, and otherwise unavailable to most. With an egg incubator, students will observe the transformation from egg to chick while observing and recording details along the way.
Students will learn the importance of taking care of the fragile nature of our environment and the complexity of this process of transformation. This machine will give students a much deeper understanding of the transformation from egg to chick than simply reading about it. We will use it to encourage the scientific inquiry process.
