Our students need these tablets to reinforce literacy and math skills. The Little Scholar tablets will allow our students to work on necessary skills independently at center time. The Little Scholar tablets offer individual assessments for individual users. The teacher can manage specific needs for each child in the areas of math and literacy through the use of technology.
Giving low-income students access to new technology is an investment in their future. Our classrooms are not yet at the level technologically to meet their needs as learners. This grant will help to close that gap just a little bit more.
