An iPad mini can help contribute to my student’s learning experiences in so many ways. A tablet can provide my students with applications that can be used as voice output devices, thus giving my children a voice. So children who can not speak can use an iPad to help communicate their wants and needs by using special applications designed to speak their thoughts and that can be customized for each student. In addition, an iPad can provide many educational applications with endless opportunities to learn basic concepts, reading skills, receptive and expressive language skills and more. Lastly, an iPad can be used as a great reinforcement and carryover activity for lessons learned in the classroom and in real world opportunities. Technology helps to give my children motivating and exciting ways to learn.
