We all know the importance of having a solid foundation to begin reading. My students will be using these fun letter sound activities to enhance their letter naming and sound production skills. They will spend time strengthening their knowledge of vowel sounds and begin building words with a hands on approach. The letter magnets and word blending activities will take my pre-readers into the world of sounding out words and eventually reading. Once ready, the blends and digraph activities will give my students the skills they need in first grade. We all know the best way to learn is through fun and tangible experiences. These activities will be the tools they need to make learning fun!
