All of my students learn music literacy. It is the foundation of independent musicians that participate in music throughout their lives. However, our curriculum hasn't been replaced in decades and the books are destroyed.
The objective of teaching a scholar is to enable the scholar to get along without the teacher. Learning to read music starts with a curriculum that encourages daily reading with artistic rewards. These books allow students to develop team work and individual skills. When this is paired with our rhythm reading curriculum, students will be able to learn music more quickly and gain access to harder music.
