I am requesting three mini iPad and protective cases. I feel that my students learn best through technology. My students will do independent academic work on the iPad such as sight word, listening to stories, practicing touch-math, tracing and typing practice and much more. One iPad will be set aside as a communication device for my students who are nonverbal. The iPads will be used in the special education self contained classroom. The iPads will also be taken into the general education classroom to offer opportunities for the students to communicate and complete academic work. I would like my students to learn and interact with technology the way many students without disabilities do everyday.
