My students have been learning how to sing, play, create, and perform music in our class. After a lesson is taught, the students take pride in performing for their peers, teachers, parents, and community but it difficult to do so due to the lack of equipment. The music our students are creating is full of so much power it needs to be heard! Anyone that has experienced the power of music knows what I'm saying when I quote, "Music gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything." When I make music with my students I see this happening and it is unbelievable! They have potential to do great things through it, it just needs to be heard.
