Our school is seeking to launch school-wide science and math discoveries. As a hub for this learning, we will be building a Makerspace in our building. The setting will be the backdrop for research, inspiration, inventing and working together to solve problems. Here, students will cooperatively learn to impact the environment around them. Our first school-wide topic will allow us to impact our community, as well as the world around us: WATER. The concept of water is included in the Next Generation Science Standards for every grade level. More importantly, it's scarcity is reaching a level of global crisis. Our learners will be the leaders of the movement to find solutions for a thirsty world.
