Each day is a new one for students. They sometimes feel like standing to learn, sitting on the floor, balancing on balls, or sitting on wiggle stools. My class gets to choose each day where they want to sit for the day and who they want to sit by in order to be responsible for their own learning. It helps the kids take more ownership of where they sit and their learning for the day. I have seen improvement in the attitudes they have when they are given the freedom to choose what they want for the day. My students will love it!
