The 5 Sphero robotic balls will be used everyday in my STEAM classroom. Students will learn not only to navigate the Sphero ball through self designed mazes, but also learn to program or "code" using Sphero. The differentiation Sphero provides makes it a great tool for all levels of programmers. Students will start by using the block coding provided on the Sphero Edu App and then move into creating their own code using JavaScript. Donations to help our STEAM Classroom obtain Spheros will provide students with a hands-on-tool to assist their learning of computer programming. This highly engaging tool will provide students with the coding and design skills needed to open doors to potential careers in technology.
