Students love to have options of where to work. They also love to move about the room. I currently have 26 student desks and one table for students to sit at. The table only allows about 4-5 students the option of moving and choosing their own place to work.
These stand up desks would be the beginning of my ability to offer flexible seating. It would offer a couple new choices for places to work and meet the needs of those who like and/or need to stand while working. It is a long day for some students to sit at a desk all day. It would really increase students' comfort and engagement.
