In our post pandemic classroom, we no longer have desktop computers to use in order to access online learning for Reading and Intervention programs. Our school has computer carts where we share 40 computers among the 7 Kindergarten teachers (about 155+ students).
If our classroom had a few iPads, students would easily be able to log into their programs on their own (using the program's applications), and I could then better use my time helping other students and teaching, instead of working as the computer tech. These iPads will stay safe in the classroom, and as students move around the classroom during "center" time, they will now have a dedicated computer area in which to focus on their academics, and not worry about not having a computer.
