My students come from a range of backgrounds and include students with disabilities that are mainstreamed into general education. Over the course of our two years together we develop deep relationships and foster love of learning and community.
We read EVERY DAY together and create a culture around reading and writing. Book love is fostered by students and staff alike as every student sets goals for who they will become as readers. Did you know that the experiences in junior high have one of the largest impacts on high school graduation? What a responsibility we then have to make sure these years are the best they can be for students.
