Flexible seating is very important in my kindergarten classroom. It is almost impossible for five and six-year-olds to sit at a desk all day and be engaged in their learning. At various times throughout the day, the students will choose where they want to complete their work. Some like to relax on the beanbags, work on the carpet, sit on cushions, or work at a table. These wobble chairs would make a great addition to our table station instead of having to use the regular chairs like the ones at their desk. Some students just need to fidget and move a little more than others to stay focused on their work. These wobble chairs would provide just that for those students. If needed, the wobble chair could also be used for a student at their desk throughout the day without distracting the other students.
