The books will help my students become the class family I strive for us to be but most importantly, it will help my students become excited about reading and therefore, become better readers. All the books I have chosen were chosen for a very specific reason--I have my students in mind. Students will be able to hear books and read books that are very relevant to their lives. These books will help my students with many personal and interpersonal skills in addition to getting them excited to read and read on an independent level! My hope for these books and the new year will be to get my students to increase their independent reading level. Their interests in these books will make reading enjoyable and that in turn will help the students become better readers.

About my class
