These items will allow me teach more activities besides the traditional physical activities like basketball, football, and soccer. Some of the things on my wish lists are essentials for a successful PE program. I have some good old fashioned playground balls on my list, because so many of the activities I want to teach can be used with these. I can use it for team handball, kicket (Cricket and kickball combined), and so many other games/activites. For the shuttlecocks, I have them play a traditional brazilian game that is like volleyball and badminton combined, where you have to use your hands instead of a racquet. For the flag football belts, I have so many activities planned, that I can use them for, besides flag football. I teach them rugby with the belts. I can do some fitness games with them as well. I have very few pennies and I only have them in 2 colors, blue and yellow. They are also for 1st-3rd graders. My 6th, 7th, and 8th graders have a hard time putting those on. It also helps me organize them into teams faster and easier. If I say team 1 or team 4, some students might not remember what team they are on half way through class, so they might go to the wrong team. If I can just say yellow team and blue team over here, it will be a lot easier, because they will just have to look at what they are wearing.
