Our science department has many Vernier sensors/probes for data collection yet all students do not have access to traditional computers as an interface to use this valuable equipment. The Labquest Stream provides wireless connectivity for vernier probes to be used with virtually any smart device. Students can collect data with their phone, tablet, or iPad by downloading Vernier's free app for iOS and Android. It also connects to Windows/Mac computers as well as Chromebooks via USB. Students will be able to collect and organize scientific data on multiple devices, including the the ones that they carry around every day! By unlocking these resources, students will have the ability to conduct investigations directly relating to forces, motion, energy, thermodynamics, radiation, optics, electricity, and more! These devices will give all teachers in our science and engineering departments the ability to utilize these investigative tools, regardless of their technology resources.
