As someone that is new to classroom libraries, this project will help me expand and enhance the quality of the books in my classroom. This project will help provide books that are more relevant and engaging to today's sixth grade reader. Our sixth graders are eager to read quality books and this project will help me help them accomplish this goal. The books in the libraries chosen provide a range of genres and reading levels that will appeal to all students in the classroom. Books that I have had in the previous school year were not as strong as the ones chosen through this project.
