For most high school students, cell phones, going to the movies, video games and other technology give them pure joy! For our students stimulating their senses, in different ways bring them enjoyment.
During our Adaptive PE Field Day, our students are given the chance to participate in an adaptive craft. This year, our students will be assisted in making sensory bottles. Students will be given the choice of making a shake and see bottle or an oil and water lava bottle. As simple as these items sound they truly make our students happy inside. When bought offline, they can get expensive, but showing students and sending home directions will give parents and students a chance to personalize an easy DIY sensory item!
