Too many foreign language classrooms drill grammar rules and vocabulary into students' minds through worksheets, lectures, and textbooks. Language is acquired through meaningful, real-world communication. My students crave creative and stimulating activities. They love to work together to solve problems, learn, and compete.
My students will use these escape room games to effectively collaborate, communicate, and learn Spanish. Each game would serve about 10-15 students, so two games are requested as I generally have class sizes between 25-32. The games are excellent resources, extremely developed, and contain quality materials that are hard to find elsewhere. I am looking forward to tricking my students into actually learning when they think that all they are doing is playing!
