My students frequently work in groups during math. These tables will make it much easier for students to work together. They will all be able to hear and see each other while working due to the shape. The shape also creates a great opportunity for me to work with small groups at their tables and allows them all to be able to see and hear.
The tables are also on wheels, which allows for groups to move the tables around the room. Groups will be able to move their tables away from other groups so that they can concentrate solely on what their group is working on. It will also create an easy transition from whole group instruction and group work.
