My students come from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds. Our District requires third grade students to know how to use printmaking and to recognize a print and careers in art. Students will stretch screen over the embroidery loop and draw their designs in sharpie on the screen. Students will then mask off their design with Modge Podge and press Fabric Ink through the exposed screen onto their white t-shirts. Once dry students will be able to wash and wear their own School Logo Designs. Students will recognize a print and the purpose of a print. Students will enjoy designing and wearing their own Art.
