Volcanoes! Forces! Motion! Ecosystems! These collections of non-fiction books will help my students master STEM vocabulary and concepts as we transition to the NGSS. They are focused on the reading levels of 2nd- and 3rd-grade students so the information will be both exciting and accessible. Full-color photographs and explanations will excite students to learn more about science and sound like scientists. These non-fiction collections of books will help students read, write, and speak like scientists. We will use the information they learn to create hands-on science projects in the classroom.
