My students have so many academic and social milestones to hit during their Kindergarten year. Not only will these learning tools and manipulatives allow them to hit their academic goals, but these things will also help them reach their social-emotional goals as they work together to complete these games and activities. Items like magnetic letters, letter stamps, and alphabet sound teaching tubs will give students a unique experience and an engaging way to learn letters and sounds, which will lead to word building, and finally, will allow students to reach their reading goals! Other items such as pattern block design cards, magna tiles, and crazy shapes magnetic building blocks will enable students to use teamwork to reach common goals, thus, increasing their socialization skills, which are so vital at this young and impressionable age! My students will absolutely love receiving these fun and engaging manipulatives!
