This school year will present unique challenges in our ability to adequately reach all types of learners, in-class students and remote students alike, and being able to offer rich and engaging experiences in science class will help to bridge any gaps that may arise.
These recording materials will allow me to provide clear and detailed labs, demonstrations, and modeling videos to my sixth grade students, particularly those learning from home or who miss a day in class. Being able to record hands-free and high-resolution video will offer students a better view of interactions of materials used, and clearer audio will lead to a better understanding of instruction and description.
My current recording material is a 5-year-old laptop that does not allow me to get the type of close-up and active video of what is happening during my Earth science and computer science labs and demonstrations, and these materials can help to alleviate these concerns as recording lessons becomes more prevalent.
