For the first time in our school, we will be teaching a computer science class. Having the supplies available for charging and listening will make the transition so much easier and will help students to be successful. In my social studies classes, I like to incorporate as many hands on learning opportunities with my classes as possible. Students would prefer to draw and color a map instead of just looking at one. We create oil pastel cave drawings, mosaic art, board games, calligraphy, and more while studying about ancient history.
The supplies we need are basic but make a world of difference for my students who prefer to learn by creating! Students always come back to let me know that they loved creating projects and wished that all of their classes were as interactive.
