My students are in need of some classroom basics to learn in science like a Periodic Table poster to reference, everyday pencils and sharpeners. Having these resources readily available makes it easier for my students to get what they need, and move on to learning. They also need some 'pizazz' in their world with some special prize pencils and new colorful writing utensils. When my students can use color in their work, they activate all parts of their brain, have fun, and remember information better. We will use colored pencils, markers, and glue sticks to create engaging notes, diagrams, and drawings in their interactive notebooks, class assignments, and projects.
