My students will utilize the Real World Insect Foes, and Real World Insect Friends specimen kits as an important part of our unit on beneficial and harmful insects. They will work collaboratively to observe, research, and discuss the specimens, and will then share what they've learned with their classmates and their families.
This project will provide my students with the opportunity to interact with these creatures in a hands-on, safe, and unique way. My students are fascinated by all types of insects. These kits will help them gain a new appreciation for the roles of these creatures in our environment.
