My students love being able to build with all types of materials. We have be able to run STEM time in a workshop type model. Having legos in our class will be a great new tool for them to be able to creatively explore whatever they want, as well as having building cards to follow directions to build. I want to be able to rotate out different tools to keep their interest. The brain flakes and Goobi construction set will give the students a tool that they have never seen or used before to build and create with. The books that I have selected will also offer visuals, encouragement, and a great story to enlighten their thinking about STEM. By donating to our project, you will not only add fun and excitement to our room you will also be enhancing their exploration in STEM. The students will be able to have more variety and choice in their STEM activities, as well as building on their conversation skills and being able to share.
