I am seeking a class set of the novel, Rules. Rules is the story of a twelve-year-old girl named Catherine, who is torn between caring for her autistic brother, David and finding her own place in life. This heart warming story includes diversity, struggle, empathy, and compassion. These are all very important traits that I want my students to see, understand, and follow in life. This book will teach my students all of these wonderful traits while improving their comprehension skills. This novel will be enjoyed during our literature circles where students have the opportunity to read and complete comprehension based activities using the text. Please help me provide my students with a wonderful novel to not only increase their reading skills but teach them a variety of important, life skills.
