I want my classroom to be an inviting place where my students want to learn and grow. My middle school students sit in hard straight chairs all day and they would love nothing better than to come into my classroom and having flexible seating where they can sit and enjoy a good book.
Classrooms should be a sanctuary for students. It should be a place where they come to not only learn, but also enjoy the atmosphere in which they are in. I would love to have new bean bags and books and create an inviting reading environment for my students.
After working hard, my students get free time the last few minutes of class on Fridays. They absolutely LOVE to work on puzzles during this time. I would like to have new puzzles that will challenge them.
