"Okay friends, do you have your paper and writing materials ready?" Every time, there are a few students who have to go rustle up some paper in their house. I created this project to support my students and their families as we continue virtual learning into 2021. I will be using the paper, drawing materials, and whiteboards/markers to create a "supply basket" for students to keep right next to their learning device.
It can be overwhelming for families to balance work and school - I want these materials to support families and my students' readiness for class.
The math manipulatives will help students complete activities at home. Young children learn math through hands-on manipulation of amounts, and the unifix cubes will allow my students to create amounts, complete patterns, measure items, and more.
