The upcoming school year is unpredictable, chartered, and uncertain. I was lucky enough to have some of these incoming first graders as Kindergartners last year. These little ones walked out the door in March and have not set foot back in their school since.
My students are enrolled in a Title I school in the NYC DOE and come from many diverse cultures. No matter what learning looks like this year, I want to create a safe, warm environment that teaches to the whole child and allows them to grow and become young leaders!
My project includes many digital resources such as guided reading materials, activities, and also physical supplies such as book baggies and classroom supplies we may use if we are back in the classroom. If not, these supplies will be sent to students at home!
